Bio
London-based artist Neev has been steadily carving out her place in the UK’s indie-folk scene, known for her intricate storytelling and evocative vocals.
Neev released her debut album Katherine in 2023, a collection of intricate indie-folk songs that pack a lyrical punch and received four stars from the Daily Express. Tracks from the record were played on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 6, and BBC Radio Scotland.
This year, Neev made a return with How Things Tie in Knots in March 2025. A record shaped by tension, contrast, and self-discovery, it explores the struggle of embracing multiple identities and the complexities of human relationships. At its core, the album thrives on duality—between heritage and individuality, tradition and progression, restraint and release. Tracks from the album have been played by the likes of John Kennedy (Radio X), Sian Eleri (Selector Radio), Robert Elms (BBC Radio London), and Angela Griffin (BBC Radio 2).
